According to a June 10th press release, market research firm iSuppli has entered into an agreement with Screen Digest, which is, which is “expected to lead to the acquisition of Screen Digest.”
This is of interest to those in the broadcast technology business because Screen Digest partners with the IABM to research and publishing the IABM’s bi-annual global market study of the broadcast industry. Presumably this relationship will now transfer to iSuppli, so it will be interesting to see whether cross-industry synergies are created and if any new methodologies are employed.
I have great respect for the Screen Digest people that I have met over the years, so it’s good to see them finding a good home.
